Blowin' Up in Iraq

Bush et al assert constantly that they've made the world safer. Usually, this "safety" is more conceptual than empirical, and for good reason: day in and day out, the Administration's policies make Americans less safe. For instance: "nearly 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives - used to demolish buildings, make missile warheads and detonate nuclear weapons - are missing from one of Iraq's most sensitive former military installations." It took just one pound of this stuff to blow up Pan Am 103 in 1988 - this is 760,000 pounds of it. This is a horrifying development. If Zarqawi gets ahold of even a fraction of this stuff...
