Kicking ass and taking names

Oooh, South Knox Bubba is pissed and it is glorious:

People who voted for him may think they voted for George Bush and his policies. What they really voted for was an ideology and an agenda. And they are not George Bush's.

George Bush could not form a policy for ordering lunch. He is an actor on a stage reading a script, and not a very good one. He has never had an original thought in his life. He is a dull, inarticulate, and not-so-charming face that has been pasted on a radical Christian conservative movement to finally and once and for all forge the holy trinity of church, state, and corporation into a monotheistic new age single-party democracy.

What people really voted for was a direction for America designed by Dick Cheney and his corporate pals, a foreign policy of war engineered by the likes of Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz and their defense contractor pals, and a faith-based government conceived by the likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell. George Bush is just the button you pushed to approve it. [snip]

So if you, like me, are deeply disturbed by the idea of an unrestrained and unaccountable administration, Congress, and Supreme Court steamrolling this corporate church of state program across the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, then get mad as hell and fight them at every turn. I don't know exactly how, but do something. If, on the other hand, you think this is the right direction for America then God help us all.

Read the whole post here. OK, then.
