Budgets, Budgets, Budgets

Paul Krugman writes on the Bush budget. He no likey. And why would he - this budget is even more bloated than previous years' with military spending (where's the nimble, "do-more-with-less," market-economy behavior from the services?) and tax "relief" for the wealthy, and even more vicious to the middle- and lower-classes. Krugman: "Democrats have surprised the Bush administration, and themselves, by effectively pushing back against Mr. Bush's attempt to dismantle Social Security. It's time for them to broaden their opposition, and push back against Mr. Bush's tax policy." Hear, freaking hear.
