Um, what?

OK, I actually quite like Jane Fonda and I bet her new book is a riveting read, but why, oh why, does she give out quotes like this?

Lofts are always so angular. I wanted something curved. I wanted to come through the double doors - read labia - into a warm, pink womb, and then pass through a narrow birth passage.

Dear Jane,
There is really never a good time to refer to the door of your loft as a labia. Trust me on this one. It makes you sound flakey, and makes your loft sound vaguely moist. Please try to find another, preferably non-vaginal, way to express what you mean in future.
