Friday Blog Meme: Cast the Movie You

Shakespeare's Sister wants to know who you'd cast to play yourself in the movie version of your life. As an honest-to-god, real life Director™ you'd think this would be an easy question for me. But you'd apparently be wrong, because it took me forever to come up with anything! There just aren't a lot of cute, round, giggly, mouth-like-a-sailor wiseacre actresses out there (more's the pity). However, after prolonged thought, here's the cast list:

• Me: Drew Barrymore (general kookiness, definite chin, affectionate) mixed with Dawn French (sarcastic humor, queenly hips)
• Husband: Will Ferrell (gangly, tall, bust-a-gut funny) mixed with Bill Murray (unexpectedly sarcastic, quirky, funny)
