More unsettling news.

It seems like there's more disheartening and unsettling news. In the midst of Plamegate, Justice O'Connor's resignation, a soaring deficit and the expansion (rather than contraction or restriction) of terrorist activities, we have more civil unrest at home.

Ben "Cooter" Jones, is upset with what the new Dukes of Hazzard movie.
My favorite part from the Yahoo News article is:

"Basically, they trashed our show," said Jones, who now lives in the mountains of Washington, Va. "It's one thing to do whatever movie they want to do, but to take a classic family show and do that is like taking "I Love Lucy" and making her a crackhead or something."

Ruining classic family shows, America you should be ashamed. Perhaps, I should be ashamed because crackhead Lucy would be funny. Of course, that readily accepts the implied comparison of Lucy and The Dukes as being equal. But c'mon!! "Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do...after we smoke this crack and have unprotected sex -- that's right we're pushin the twin beds together, if you know what I mean." Oh Ricky, indeed!
