Fun with Google Maps

Google is essential to life as we know it, of course, and Google Maps is both a wonderful tool and a great time-waster. This GMaps hack takes things to the proverbial next level by allowing you to get accurate mileage (kilometerage) for any route you'd care to draw. Try it: it's very addictive. One can learn, for instance, that it is 0.39875683926471933 miles from my workplace's offices to the Target store on Nicollet Mall, when walking outside.

Functionality aside, the interface is also pretty funny because it asks you, as all reputable websites should, to "Click here if you don't live in Hoboken"!
