But lord knows this economy is trying. Shakes Sis, who as you know is one of our favorite bloggers, just had her property taxes raised 100% (no, that's not a typo), and then found out the next morning that she was laid off. Yuck, yuck, yuck. She and Mr. Shakes are feeling a little overwhelmed, so if you can spare a few bucks, go and visit her tip jar. Right now, the blog is her only source of income!
