Below is a list I compiled with the help of Elise and Christopher, regarding Bush related fiascos. If you like it, we all contributed, you don't, blame me. After watching some of the recently released FEMA briefings, I was pissed off. (If you haven't yet, go look at the AP video and see what Bush knows before he says that no one could have seen this coming.) Fuckers!!
I then thought about the Daily Show list of disasters and thought "I bet I could come up with 26 reasons to be pissed off." Why 26? Well, my uncle told me as a communication student and/or practitioner I should always have a working knowledge of about 20-25 communication theories. I had picked 26, to align a theory with each letter of the alphabet - kind of a pneumonic device. Christ, why am I trying to apply logic and reasoning when it's clear the country doesn't really want it?!?!
Well, you can easily come up with more than 26 reasons to be pissed off at Dubbya, but using the alphabet added a bit of a challenge. If you call a few minutes a challenge. In just a few minutes, here's what we came up with:
