April Fools

There seemed to be a larger-than-usual number of good April Fools jokes this year. Google followed on previous years with their usual well-done prank: Google Romance. (Thanks to Elise for the tip.)

With narrower ranges of appeal, a couple of the skiing websites I frequent had good pranks. Skinnyski.com, a Twin Cities outdoor-sports website had a funny set of fake stories playing on skiers' regret at seeing the winter end. Even if the stories are inside baseball, you can appreciate the photo captions. Another skiing website, Fasterskier.com, ran a hilarious story (with excellent pix) about a new XC racing event - "full contact sprints" - that follows up to last year's prank on a windfall for the always-underfunded national team.

Anybody else have good April Fools jokes to share?
