Sad and funny and silly all at once: we're probably still years away from electing an African-American president, yet Sweden's new prime minister is descended from mixed-race American circus impresario, John Hood, who impregnated at least one Swedish girl (well, Latvian, but living in Sweden) during a tour of that country in the 1880s. In other words, Sweden's new PM is blacker than any American president, even Bill.
