Nordic Crime

In addition to the country's many charms, "Norway's homicide rate remains relatively low and police have a high success rate fighting the most serious crime" - though most of the 34 homicides (in the whole country!) were men killing women. Apparently Swedes have some blade-related anger-management issues. Recently, "a 25 year old man tried to break into his ex-girlfriend's flat with a chainsaw" and "staff in municipal buildings near Stockholm were forced to lock themselves into an office on Thursday morning after a man armed with an axe broke in and threatened them."
