Bored in a Northern Town

Some engineering students at Michigan Technological University, located next door to my hometown, spent part of their Winter Carnival building a "snow speaker" - a 20,000-watt megaphone that uses massive snow walls to project the sound.

This is what happens when you put a university in too cold and snowy a place.
