Gold, Silver, and Bronze

I'm a junkie for most things Olympian, so I found the announcement of the medals to be awarded at Beijing 2008 to be pretty interesting. The medals themselves, made of the appropriate medal and jade, are rather pretty, in fact. No word on whether they're being made in sweatshops by 12-year-old girls in some smoggy metropolis in Shandong.
