F1 Fast

Formula 1 racer Heikki Kovalainen is writing a column for the BBC about his life on the F1 circuit, . I know nothing about F1 racing, except that it's huge everywhere not named "USA", but Kovalainen's newest piece, on what a race day - and a race itself - is like, is really fascinating. Even though he's usually confined to his car for 90 minutes or more, he doesn't take a bottle of water with him, as the extra weight could cost him four seconds over the entire race.
