I gotta say, that rings absolutely true to me, though I wouldn't have thought about it if Rowling hadn't said anything. I LOVE that she said it when and how she did, because you better believe she knew the kind of uproar it would cause, and I love that she thought it was more important to give a kid an honest answer than to protect herself and her books from bigoted assholes. JK, you are one classy dame.
