Lies, Damn Lies, and Sinclairs

My colleague Michael Allen, a historian and an expert on the Vietnam War, has just published a thoughtful look at the controversy over Sinclair's anti-Kerry propagandizing. It's very much worth reading, not least because he makes the point that the Kerry haters aren't so much offering an alternative perspective as they are just plain lying.
