Unreasoning and unreasonable
There are lots of reasons to want to see the Bush II regime go the way of the dinosaurs - and by that, I mean, of course, that they be anthropomorphized so as to be almost human - but my main objection to them, one and all, is their blatant inability to reason well.
For every years-late admission by Rumsfeld that Hussein had no ties to al-Qaeda - an admission he then retracted by saying he was misunderstood! - we have Cheney still stating that such links did exist, even when there's absolutely no evidence of them, and then we have Dr. Rice insisting that those aluminum tubes were for Iraq's nukes program, even though nobody else thinks that. And don't even mention the lack of symmetry between their attitudes toward a non-threat like Iraq and a real threat like North Korea.
Leaving aside their crypto-fundamentalism, their 1890s economic policies, their understanding of foreign policy as bullying with Stealth bombers, the regime needs to be changed because its members simply cannot think well. Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice: they're simply unable - for whatever reason - to draw rational conclusions from available evidence. Given that their errors cost billions of dollars and kill thousands of people, this frequently-demonstrated flaw is enough to warrant their firings, if not their impeachments.
