For those of you dear readers who know Elise, Matt, and me, you'll understand why this Salon article by Alex Wright, "From Ivory Tower to Academic Sweatshop" (which requires a free site pass to read), is particularly relevant to us, given our relationship to what we might call the postmodern educational economy. For the rest of you, the article's commendable simply for being a fair-minded and (I think) engrossing look at for-profit higher ed and the people and companies who constitute it.
