Some enjoyable and informative reads that have come across my desk recently:

- Removing the cigarette from the Good Night, Moon artist photo was a start, but there's more work to be done.

- If you're going to be a souse, better to be a caffeinated souse.

- Lance Mannion has two thoughtful posts on Gone With the Wind, racism and culture. (I still love that movie, dammit, and Lance gets at some of the reasons why.)

- WalMart harrasses a customer for "buying while black" - because, as we all know, black people never have any money that's not stolen or forged. Gah.

- Frank Rich applies his typical nuanced and beautifully written opinionating to the wanker we know as Bob Woodward.
