Tuesday Morning Link Dump

Things that are making me grumpy and/or depressed:

1. Chris Wallace being an ASSHOLE. Dude. Your father is, like, infinity times the newsman you will ever be. Get over it. And if you don't know who Tokyo Rose was, don't fucking invoke her!

2. Spurious abortion research. I read about this study yesterday and experienced a full-body wince along with some serious suspicion about the parameters of the study. Thankfully, Shakes Sis has looked into it more thoroughly, and yep: it's seriously flawed. Of course, that won't get reported, and the (false) conclusions will be cited in mainstream publications for years to come.

3. Racist, power hungry legal systems. If you haven't read about the Corey Maye case yet, click that link. That this man is facing the death penalty is a travesty of justice, and I do not use that term lightly.

Grrrrrrrrrr. This, on the other hand, is pretty damn funny.
