Bipartisan Hatin' on Bush

From today's American Progress Report:

CONSERVATIVES JOIN CHALLENGE TO BUSH'S ILLEGAL SPYING
The American Civil Liberties Union and the Center for Constitutional Rights have filed suit against the National Security Agency for its warrantless wiretapping on American citizens. The lawsuits are on behalf of a group of liberal and conservative journalists, authors, scholars, and organizations. The group includes Larry Diamond, a scholar at the conservative Hoover Institution who formerly advised the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, and the writer Christopher Hitchens, a strong defender of the U.S. war in Iraq. The conservative Patriots to Restore Checks and Balances, joined by right-wing leaders including Grover Norquist and Paul Weyrich, also yesterday called on Congress to hold hearings on the President's illegal spying. "Public hearings on this issue are essential to addressing the serious concerns raised by alarming revelations of NSA electronic eavesdropping," said Norquist.
Huh. Maybe the Red voters aren't all bad...
