Realdolls Redux

A few months ago, Elise blogged about the Realdoll phenomenon - lifelike and life-sized sex dolls. Via Collision Detection, I see that a photographer has just published a set of portraits of men (and women!) with their RealDolls. Uh, yeah. That's so virtual and meta and weird that it makes my head hurt to even contemplate. I haven't followed the links to the photos yet (this is a family friendly workplace!), and I guess I'll have to pass on making a pun on "still life" since she's already done it: the book's called Still Lovers.
