"Scale Model of a section of the Ark"?

PZ Myers over at Pharyngula steps back for a goddamn minute from all the real science and digs into some of the fake stuff: the Minnesota Creation Science Fair. Oh, man. Whatever you do today, don't miss the list of suggested topics. What with the violent eye-rolling, I think I might have dislocated my corneas. I mean, really.

35. Why does the Bible say there is one glory of the sun, one glory of the moon, and one glory of the stars?
52. What was the weather like before the Flood?
53. Were all the animals friendly to man before the Flood? Idea: raise several baby animals like snake and mouse together to see if they remain friends as they are older.
I like that last one - kind of a Biblio-biological metaphor for what's going to happen when American science education tanks while Chinese and Indian kids continue to learn, say, actual facts. But thank goodness (not God!) that, as Myers reports, the fair "looks most ordinary: a mob of cute kids, and some goofy posters, some promising."
