So Allstate Insurance decided that since Milwaukee has the safest drivers in the country, it would give away a tanker full of free gas. Cue the predictable outcome:

Two crashes occurred, fights broke out and arrests were made for disorderly conduct... some motorists started lining up before midnight and the queue stretched far from the station into a residential area, trapping some residents in their driveways, said police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz. That led to fights and arrests for disorderly conduct... The two crashes apparently occurred when drivers who were in line tried to let friends cut in, Schwartz said.
