Roadtripping

The holidays bring with them the prospect of long drives. On my way to the in-laws, my car is going to carry two adults, a toddler, an infant, four suitcases, at least two big boxes full of presents, three bags of personal effects (adult, adult, toddler), a well-stocked sack of snacks, a diaper bag, a zillion diapers, a dozen kid's-music albums (but I might "forget" the Elmo CD), Bert & Ernie dolls, and roughly one-third of the children's book collection at the Northfield Public Library.

Thank god all the driving will be on interstates, not on any of The Most Dangerous Roads in the World.
