76% of America Hates You, George

A CBS-New York Times poll (cited here) finds that only 24% of the public approve of Bush's handling of the war. That's not quite the same thing as his overall approval rating, which hovers in the low 30s, but since the war is Bush's signature issue, it's worth noting that he's bad territory. According to Scott Horton at Harper's, the last (and only!) president facing such broad-based public disapproval was Richard Nixon - just before he fricking resigned the presidency.
