In the wake of the Minneapolis bridge collapse, Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s approval rating has climbed to its highest level recorded during his tenure in office, a new poll shows.

This is ridiculous. His administrative style contributed to the infrastructure problems that have been highlighted by the collapse. His no-taxes policy hamstrings the state government's ability to move forward. He has been steathily unrolling many of the state-funded programs which make (made?) Minnesota a great state. And on top of that, he's clearly positioning himself for Bigger and Better Things just as soon as possible.

Ridiculous.
