Persistent Vegetative State (No, Not Florida Itself)

Huh. I'll be. Turns out, Terri Schiavo really was a vegetable. Buncha them doctors said so while she was still respiring, and now a buncha different doctors are saying so after zaminin' her body. Maybe doctors and other scientists should have a larger say in key scientific issues than politicians and zealots. (Note: for the purposes of the foregoing assertion, Dr. Bill Frist should be classed in the third and fourth categories, not either of the first two.)
