The Cosmopolitan Metropolis

From the Strib:

In a major shift, the Twin Cities and a handful of other medium-size metro areas are eclipsing the nation's largest cities -- Chicago, New York and Los Angeles -- as destinations for refugees, according to a report to be released today... During this decade, the Twin Cities area has taken in slightly more than 10,000 refugees. That's more than either Chicago or Los Angeles.
This can only be good for Minnesota, and for the Cities in particular. The more diverse we are, the better off we'll be. And I don't just mean for good food.
